| It's been a great year living on Siward Street. Highlights include:
[1] The amazing house: good sized rooms and fully working facilities.
[2] Ideal location: one min from co-op, ten mins from the uni.
[3] Friendly, helpful and professional landlords. If ever there was a problem, it would be delt with quickly and properly.
I would recommend 30 Siward St to any student studying at the University of York. |

| 31 Nicholas Street was a wonderful place to stay in, well furnished and in a great location for a student, one couldn't ask for better. | I've been in one of these properties for 2 years now, and haven't had any problems at all. The house itself is well furnished, kept in brilliant condition and the rooms are big, and more importantly, have a lot of storage space. Sandra and Rob themselves have been extremely helpful and quick in fixing any minor problems during our stay, usually on the same or next day. Very friendly people too. Definitely recommended! |

The Hardcastles really make you feel secure in your house, knowing that if anything goes wrong they'll usually be there the same day to fix it. They're also very friendly, so if something goes wrong you're not afraid to let them know! The houses are also very homely and cozy. Can't go wrong, really! |

| We stayed in two different Hardcastle properties over two years. The houses have all the facilities you could need, to a high standard, and are replaced quickly if necessary. They are regularly updated and any problems are dealt with straight away. Rob and Sandra are really helpful, friendly landlords who appreciate that things can and do go wrong. | The property we rented was great, and improvements on furnishings, even though they started at a high standard were upgraded often. Always very helpful with queries and any situations where their assistance was required. Appliances were often fixed either the same day or at most the next, and they accept things can go wrong. Enjoyed our property so much that we stayed there for two years. |

| Our house was very well presented with good furniture, constantly being updated. Whenever there was a problem it was dealt with within a day or two, something which was greatly helped by the fact they lived only just down the road!
My stay in a Hardcastle house was not the easiest of times due to several housemates moving out. However, Rob & Sandra were always very positive and supporting, and even volunteered their own time to help find replacements!
It was a real pleasure to have stayed in one of Rob & Sandra's houses and, from what I have heard about others, feel very privileged to have had them as landlords! |

Fixtures and fittings have been constantly updated and repaired - in the two years I've been here they've put in a new bathroom and kitchen as well as loads of new furniture and appliances. Any problems with the house have been dealt with very quickly and without fuss. Plus Rob and Sandra are really nice people to deal with. |

| I would not hesitate in recommending the Hardcastles to anyone thinking of staying in York. They were very friendly, approachable and clearly take pride in the properties they rent. For example, when our washing machine broke down they arranged for it to be fixed straight away and even washed a set of my shirts for work in the meantime! Having been in York for five years I have seen few student houses which compare, or met any landlords as pleasant as Rob and Sandra. |
